STRUCTURE GOVERNS FUNCTION

By Robert Claridge

At Claridge Naturopathics, we started stocking Gelpro Peptipro collagen in our Nurture Healthy Living store seven years ago after observing exciting findings in the scientific research.

We were impressed by the initial studies centred on bone (1) and skin (2) health.  However, more recently the benefits of hydrolysed collagen supplementation have become broad reaching.

Peptipro contains type I and Type III collagen which share many overlapping benefits such as:

  • BONE HEALTH: Providing strength and integrity to the skeletal system.
  • SKIN HEALTH: Delivering structural support, improving elasticity, and promoting hydration to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and dryness.
  • JOINT HEALTH: Contributing to the structure and strength of tendons, ligaments, and cartilage joints. They help maintain joint flexibility, improve mobility, and reduce joint pain and inflammation.
  • MUSCLE HEALTH: Contributing to strength and elasticity and helping to promote muscle mass, support muscle recovery after exercise, and improve athletic performance.
  • GASTROINTESTINAL HEALTH: Playing a role in maintaining the health of the gut lining to help improve digestion and elimination.
STRUCTURE GOVERNS FUNCTION

We particularly chose Peptipro as our collagen of choice for the following reasons:-

  • It is unflavoured and has no obvious taste.
  • It dissolves easily and does not ‘gel’ together.
  • It is free of fat, sugar and lactose.
  • It is hydrolysed and particularly high in glycine, hydroxyproline and proline. (The key amino acids needed to ensure its benefits).
  • It is made from Australian and New Zealand collagen.
  • It is made by Gelpro, who are a sustainably focused company.

If you haven’t tried Gelpro Peptipro and you feel that you would like to improve the structure and function of your bones, skin, joints, muscles and gastrointestinal tract, feel free to pop into the clinic to check it out at our Nurture Healthy Living Store.

With gratitude,
