Claire Hosking

Specialist Naturopath, Holistic Nutritionist, Herbalist

I always knew that I wanted to be a Naturopath. I was fortunate to have a local iridologist, helping to instil, from a young age the power of herbal medicine on our health. So when deciding what direction to take in life, I chose Naturopathy, wanting to learn all I could about the human body and how to support it naturally.

Since graduating in 2009, I have been practicing over the past few years around the Surf Coast. One of my true loves as a Naturopath is to inspire you to take responsibility for your own health. My role is to help you realize your true potential, and to help you find the true cause of your disease state rather than just treat symptoms. In our time together, I hope to help your body find its own innate way of healing.

Having an absolute love of herbal medicine, I believe every herb has its own unique offering, just as we do. I love to share as much as I can, and believe it’s important for you to be informed in regards to everything that you are prescribed. While I love helping all areas of health, I do have a particular interest in the area of Women’s Health. I love assisting clients in enhancing their chances of conception, helping clients achieve hormone balance, helping clients through their menopause journey and supporting clients through times of anxiety, burnout, stress and low energy. I am passionate about using Naturopathy to empower my clients.

I am also a qualified yoga teacher around Geelong and Surf Coast. I love to combine all my years of yoga with Naturopathy. I have a particular interest in teaching you breathing and meditation to help support you in your times of need. I am here to support you and empower you; every step of the way, in any way that I can. When I’m not teaching yoga or in clinic, I’m usually surfing down the coast. I love being outside and spending time with family and friends.

I truly look forward to meeting you and helping you on your path to greater health and vitality.

HOW DOES LACK OF SLEEP AFFECT MY HORMONES?

Sleep is one of the most important functions we perform each day. Lack of sleep or disturbed sleep is thought to disrupt the circadian rhythms of the body.
