Health Potential Advocate
I have been lucky enough to call Geelong home for almost all of my life. This wonderful city has provided me with many opportunities from my secondary education at Sacred Heart College to my undergraduate degree at Deakin University. My 25+ years in this city have assisted in creating a strong community connection and appreciation for everything our city has to offer.
Growing up I always had an interest in health but my passion for the holistic health industry grew when I sought help from natural medicine to treat my own food sensitivities. This personal health journey opened my eyes to the benefits of natural medicine and inspired me to explore the health industry and learn more about food and nutrition.
Throughout my degree, I uncovered a passion for preventative health and once completing my degree I began working as a health promotion officer within local government. During this time, I worked on a number of physical activity initiatives, encouraging a range of population groups to be more active each day.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. A typical weekend for me is often spent discovering new delicious food venues in Geelong or developing my gardening skills at home with my partner and our German Shepherd Kozzie.
I have been a Claridge Naturopathics team member since 2016, and have been practicing as a Health Potential Advocate since early 2018. My role as Health Potential Advocate allows me to combine my passion for preventative health and my enthusiasm for natural medicine into a dream career. I love meeting new people every day, hearing their amazing stories and helping them achieve their true health potential. If you feel as though you need a little bit of extra support with your health, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.
